Tell us about your role and your organisation.
As director of Pod Glamping Ireland, I oversee all the company's operations and guide the daily manufacturing production.

Give us a brief overview of your career journey so far.
A former post primary Mathematics teacher, My husband and I were given the opportunity to purchase this business 4 years ago and have developed our skills every year since. We continually improve our standards of work and develop new glamping pod models and designs to meet customer expectations. We also run a holiday let called Yew Tree Barn which has given me more insight into the Northern Ireland Tourism industry.

Motivated, Creative and Ambitious

What is one skill that helps you most in your role? 
One skill I have is communication which helps me run the business with effective communication with the customer relations.

What advice do you have for women in your sector/industry/type of role? 
Passion fuels progress' - if you love your business and are passionate about what you manufacture then you will be the driving force that propels the business towards progress.

Are there any exciting plans in the year ahead in your organisation that you can share with us? 
Introducing our new 8m pod and making our first trip to the Glamping Show in England to display our pods and meet potential customers.

Who has been your biggest career inspiration and why?
Caroline O'Neill- her focus drive and business knowledge is something I have followed for a long time and her podcasts really have helped us build over the years and stay relevant.
