60 Seconds with Victoria Todd
Tell us about your role and your organisation.
Vita Wellness provides holistic, corporate well-being services. We cover all facets of health and wellness to ensure your team is cared for and feel their best.
 Services include:
  •  Wellbeing Consulting: Pulse check report on how your employees currently feel with a customised wellbeing strategy
  •   Physical Fitness: Elevate physical health with yoga, pilates and a range of fitness classes 
  •   Mental Health & Lifestyle Workshops: a variety of workshops covering stress management, sleep, nutrition, financial wellbeing and more
  •  EAP Solutions: custom Employee Assistance Programs, including private GP services, physiotherapy, and counselling

Give us a brief overview of your career journey so far.
The last 10 years of my career have been in commercial leadership positions in pharmaceutical consulting and software. I've also been a yoga teacher for the past 6 years. Vita Wellness has given me the opportunity to merge my corporate background with my passion and experience in wellness.

Describe yourself in 3 words.
Resilient, caring, determined.

What is one skill that helps you most in your role?
I think the softer, interpersonal skills of communication, listening and empathy are powerful. I also tend to rely on my intuition and gut feeling.

What advice do you have for women in your sector/industry/type of role? 
I think time spent working on yourself, be it self-care, self-development or learning how to truly put yourself first and advocate for yourself, is one of the few things I know that is always worthwhile and a guaranteed return on investment.

Are there any exciting plans in the year ahead in your organisation that you can share with us? 
We'll be announcing some exciting client partnerships soon, with some of the wonderful businesses across Northern Ireland who are dedicated to improving their team's health and wellbeing.

If you had to pick your soundtrack song to get you through the working day, what would it be?
I pretty much always have a LoFi Chill playlist on Youtube in the background when I'm working!

What's your favourite break-time snack?
Peanut butter toast, with fruit or honey usually does the trick
