Heather Macartney, Director HN Consultants Ltd

Heather started the Company HN Consultants Ltd with her business partner Natasha McGurk earlier this year.  She lives in Hillsborough with her husband and two children and Teddy the Cockapoo.

 

The new practice, HN Business Consultants, delivers tailored consultancy services, practical business support and various training and upskilling initiatives.

 

With 15years+ experience working in insolvency Heather thrives in helping others by offering her knowledge and problem-solving ability.  Working with many small/medium businesses over the years Heather has gained considerable knowledge in developing and restructuring new business ideas and processes.  With Natasha’s experience in banking, finance, training and debt mediation the Company offers a vast spectrum of knowledge to its clients.  In this respect the business is very unique. 

 

Before undertaking the new venture, Heather was employed as an Associate Director of Resolutions in a successful property debt company in Belfast.  Loving her role and after dedicating so much to the company, it was difficult to leave.  However, it was after Heather was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2018 and after undergoing surgery and treatment she looked to revaluate her career and look to the future to explore new possibilities.

 

She advises taking the plunge has been fantastic and has opened so many doors into new networks providing lots of new opportunities to offer their consultancy services. She recommends that anyone thinking about making changes to their lifestyle or career be proactive and make definite plans.
