Katie is heavily involved in music the arts as a musician, composer, MD, artist manager, events producer, activist and facilitator. In 2012 she was featured as one of the Irish Times Northern Lights which profiled people changing the face of NI in their particular fields.

Katie is heavily involved in music the arts as a musician, composer, MD, artist manager, events producer, activist and facilitator. In 2012 she was featured as one of the Irish Times Northern Lights which profiled people changing the face of NI in their particular fields.
She is co-founder of new artist collective 'Big Wild;' a collective of musicians committed to supporting and promoting each other's projects and who are passionate about encouraging and nurturing the creation of new music in a sustainable way, and founder of 'To be beautiful;' a creative project exploring beauty, identity, confidence and image through collaborative creative projects, bold imagery and discussion.
Katie is a member of Choice nominated Pleasure beach with whom she is currently touring around the UK and is about to launch her own new project Goldie Fawn' She has shared a stage, worked with and supported many artists including Duke Special, Van Morrison, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, All Saints and Foy Vance. She also works as a composer for theatre and film, including a score for short film 'The Death of a Projectionist' by BAFTA award winning Out of Orbit Films, and in 2014 she composed music for and conducted/directed a large-scale outdoor performance featuring 500 performers for the finale of Culture Night Belfast. She was artist in residence in The Mac theatre in Spring 2016.
Katie is also currently MD for 5 choirs in Northern Ireland including the Women in Business Choir and is passionate about promoting inclusion and building confidence through music and the arts.
