An umbrella group of social enterprises reaching more than 250,000 professionals across Northern Ireland has announced a new Chair and Board members as part of its strategic expansion.
The WiB Group has appointed international business leader Angela Moore as its new Chair, with Andrea McIlroy-Rose (Pinsent Masons) and Stephen McCully (Non-Executive Director at Power NI) joining as co-Vice Chairs.
Angela brings extensive experience in governance to the role of Group Chair, holding active board-level positions across a variety of organisations both local and international, including the North American Northern Ireland Advisory Council, Endeavour Ireland, the UCD Smurfit School Advisory Board and The American Ireland Fund.
Looking forward to the Group’s next phase of growth Angela said, “I am honoured to take on the role of Chair at such a pivotal time,” said Angela. “The Group and its four social enterprises have become a powerful force for positive change. By drawing on my global networks and experience, I look forward to working with the Board, our members, and our partners to build on that momentum. I would also like to extend my thanks to my predecessor Nichola Robinson for her leadership and continued support.”
Andrea McIlroy‑Rose and Stephen McCully each bring a wealth of expertise from across the professional and business landscape. Head of the Pinsent Masons Belfast Office and the firm’s UK Retail Property Lead, Andrea brings deep sectoral insight, extensive board experience, and a strong track record in strategic leadership across the legal and commercial property sectors. As a past President and Board Member of the NI Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Stephen adds significant commercial acumen, governance experience, and a long-standing commitment to supporting business growth and organisational development across Northern Ireland.
Completing the Group’s new Board appointments are three new non-executive members: Sandra Corkin (Oasis Travel), Tanya Martin (IQ&Co.), and Allstate NI’s Chief of Staff, Joy Chambers.
Chief Executive of The WiB Group, Roseann Kelly, welcomed the appointments, highlighting that the new leadership team reflects the organisation’s commitment to collaboration, diversity of thought, and long-term strategic development. “Angela, Andrea, and Stephen each bring exceptional insight and energy to the table. Together, they will play a vital role in shaping the direction of The WiB Group long into the future as we seek to maximise our impact on the local economy and society at large.”
