On the 17th May, Ulster Bank hosted a Female Entrepreneurship event in Titanic Hotel to discuss the recent Rose Review findings and to launch Ulster Bank’s new Crowdfunding partnership, Back Her Business. The event brought to life the £250bn opportunity to the UK economy and, to realise that ambition, we need to collaborate.
At the event, a panel conversation was chaired by Lynsey Cunningham, Regional Director of Entrepreneurship at Ulster Bank. The panelists; Alison Rose, Deputy CEO NatWest Holdings plc, Roseann Kelly, CEO Women in Business NI, Deirdre Terrins of Crescent Capital and Tina McKenzie, Chair of FSB NI and MD of Grafton Recruitment Group discussed the value of role models, the power of your network and building strong relationships, as well as supporting each other.
The panel reiterated that ‘actions speak louder’ than words and we’re delighted to include some tangible ways we can each go beyond the conversation to support and encourage female entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland.
