Upskill and Retrain with Ulster University Business School

As part of the Department for the Economy’s skills interventions to upskill and retrain people whose jobs have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Ulster University Business School is offering three free industry focused courses to help you or your business adapt to a shifting workplace and economy.

These online courses are designed to give those who have been impacted by COVID-19 an opportunity to upskill and retrain in priority areas, enhance employability and future career prospects. Courses on offer include:

Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Development (Understanding International Business)
If you have an interest in pursuing business growth and strategy in organisations or if you have ambition to sell products and services into GB or overseas markets, this course is for you.

Advanced Certificate in Management Practice (Transformational Management in a Digital World)
As a manager, business owner or aspiring leader, this course will help you understand and adapt to the challenges and opportunities facing modern businesses and emerge with the digital tools to lead in a rapidly changing digital world. This course has been specifically designed in collaboration with Belfast Metropolitan College and Digital DNA to meet the needs of Northern Ireland companies.

Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Development (Enabling Business Recovery)
This programme will develop your understanding of some of the key business and management issues that will help you shape your future and the future of business post COVID-19.

Commencing in January 2021, all courses will be taught fully online and delivered by experienced course teams who will support students throughout the programme with a combination of online lectures, tutorials and other online resource tools.
